So my cousin Albert goes to Berkeley for undergrad is joins the cycling club. Through the club, he was able to order a bike through the Cal Cycling Team at a big discount. So he rides it around for a few years until he recently upgraded to a carbon fiber Kestrel. Apparently he is a one bicycle person and had no further need of the KHS. So on December 28, 2009, I brought it home, returning the bike back to the SF Bay Area.

5/27/2010 - Listed it on craigslist at noon, was sold by 6 pm - damn that went fast!.

Frame: 2001 KHS Flite 800, 54cm. Serial Number: K80 U01100091. Reynolds 853 tubing main tubes, tig welded. Black with yellow and silver decals.
Fork: Advanced Composite. Natural carbon fiber with clearcoat finish.
Wheelset: Shimano WH-R535.
Tires: Vittoria Rubino Slick, 700 x 23C.
Cassette: Shimano Ultegra CS-6500 9 speed. Hyperglide, 12-25T.
Cranks: Shimano Ultegra FC-6500, 53x39, 172.5mm, 130 BCD.
Bottom Bracket: TH Sealed bearing cartridge, 111mm spindle.
Front Derailer: Shimano Ultegra FD-6500, braze-on.
Rear Derailer: Shimano Ultegra RD-6500.
Lever/Shifters:Shimano Ultegra ST-6500 Flightdeck.
Chain: Shimano CN-HG93, Super Narrow Hyperglide.
Headset: Modus H550, 1-1/8" Threadless, black.
